Better safe than sorry.
It might happen!
An accident might happen around the house. Most often in the kitchen. It is never enough to repeat that certain measures of safety are necessary especially when children are around. However, most important is to have a" First Aid Kit" HANDY, as well as Emergency Contacts. These have to be easy to access and ALWAYS in the same place.
What you can do for extra safety in the kitchen:
1- Move toxic cleaning products from the bottom cabinets to the upper ones until children are old enough to understand. I don't care what people think, children's safety is a priority.
2- In the kitchen:
- When cooking and especially frying, better to have children out of the kitchen.
- Use the inner part of the stove.
- Always turn the handle towards the wall.
YOU CAN NEVER BE TOO CAREFUL!
3- Yes, I know that the drawers are for the cutlery, however, remove sharp knives from reachable places and put them on the higher shelves. You will put them back, when the children are older.
REMEMBER, SAFETY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN PRACTICALITY !
