Tough to be a teenager these days, but the worst part is being the parents of those teens!
False accusations, door slamming, "you love him more" if your conflict is with your daughter, or "you love her more" if you are arguing with your son. "You don't love me" or the "I know" statement.
In all cases, you and dad are the devils for a few years.
However, only you as parents can set the boundaries for respect, family traditions, intolerance to dishonesty or what is important to you. Let them know when they hurt you. Apologize to them when you hurt them.
After all, we love them and we want the best for them. Just think of these moments as a silly phase that we all have to go through!
